Hathaway's Drive-In wants to partner with your not-for-profit organization and help you raise money by dedicating a movie night just for you.
WHAT DO YOU DO? IT'S EASY.
Reserve a night, Sunday thru Thursday. Promote your movie night any way you want and pre-sell a minimum of 150 adult tickets; any number of children and/or seniors. You must sell them for the same price as our general admission box office tickets which are $9 for adults, and $5 for children (age 3-11).
"SHOW ME THE MONEY"
For starters, Hathaway's Drive-In will pay you one half of our box office profit on the total tickets you sell. Our profit varies depending on the movies showing that week and ranges from 40% to 80% of the total ticket sales. Additionally, unless you request exclusivity, you will also receive the same deal on any tickets we sell at our box office that night to the general public that visits the drive-in.
Let's say you are able to pre-sell 250 adult tickets at $8 each. And let's say Hathaway's profit margin is 50% that night. You would have earned $2 on every ticket sold which is $500. Remember, the gross profit is 50% of the full ticket price of $8. Therefore, 50% of $8 is $4 and one half of $4 is $2. Hathaway's Drive-In must send the other half of the full ticket price to the movie studio as a rental fee for the films.
IT DOESN'T STOP THERE...
We encourage you to incorporate other fund raising methods into your movie night such as a 50/50 raffle, Chinese Auction, Carnival Games, T-shirt sales, etc. You get the idea. Start the night early, while it's still day light. Bands and DJ's are welcome. Have fun with it and make even more money.
THE FINE PRINT
Our standard rules prohibiting outside food, beverages, and/or coolers from being brought into the theatre grounds still apply. You also cannot sell any food or beverages on the theatre grounds. Our snack bar is fully equipped to cater to everyone's food needs. Thanks for understanding.
